Recreation Preseason Goalkeeping Camp - Winter 2022

New this winter! Does your Recreation GK need to work on basic shot stopping, falling, angle play and breakaways? All sessions for boys and girls U10-U12 recreation players will be led by MYS Director of Goalkeeping John Szaro.

*Limited to the first 12 who register.

Preseason Conditioning Camp - Winter 2022

New this winter! MYS is offering current Travel Program players an outdoor preseason camp opportunity designed to ready players for their high school and/or club team in the spring. Utilizing a mix of speed and agility exercises and strength and conditioning, our coaches will help to prepare players for anything that may come at them during the season. Strength and movement exercises help to prevent any possible injuries that may occur, along with showing proper technique for speed and efficiency during games.

All sessions are run by McLean Travel Coach Scott Shoemaker whose credentials include:

ACE Certified Personal Trainer
EXOS Performance Specialist Certification
United Soccer Coaches Special Topics Diploma (Player Health, Fitness, and Safety)
Explosive Performance Mentorship
Smarterteam Training Continued Education
US Soccer C License
United Soccer Coaches National Diploma
First Aid/CPR Certification

Shooting & Finishing and Goalkeeping Camp - Winter 2022

New this winter! MYS is offering current Travel Program players an outdoor camp that focuses on the shooting & finishing aspect of the game while also combining training for goalkeepers to work on their techniques. This is a 4 hour camp that runs over two days during the President's Day holiday weekend.
