John is President and CEO of the Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation (VT-ARC), a non-profit organization focused on analysis, research, and engineering across problems of national and global significance.  He has played soccer at multiple levels in the US and in Germany and enjoys coaching and training kids and giving back to the community.  John has three sons in the MYS system, and continues to coach recreation soccer for McLean.
