Kate Hance is a Senior Resolutions Counsel at United Educators, where she handles claims against UE members, institutions of higher education and K-12 schools, and functions as UE’s in-house coverage expert. Before joining UE in June 2020, Kate spent 14 years in private practice representing insurance company clients in complex coverage litigation. Kate received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, where she also played Division I soccer. Kate has coached all three of her kids in MYS and hopes to pass on her love of the game to the next generation.
