Kate (Mary) Fisher is a Senior Analytic Advisor in the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Policy. She grew up in an Army family with both of her parents serving in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. After settling in the Northern Virginia area, she and her siblings all played for local travel soccer clubs and their high school teams. Kate has coached recreational and travel soccer teams and served as a certified referee. Kate and her husband, Max, have four children who previously played or currently play in the MYS recreational, Juniors, ECNL-RL, and ECNL programs. She has served in a variety of volunteer roles with the Club for over a decade. She holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech and an M.S. from Texas A&M University and brings experience in strategy development and implementation, operations research, and stakeholder engagement.
