Scott Waller

Scott has coached the Varsity soccer team at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC, for the past 20 years. In 2007 and 2019, he was honored as The Washington Post All-Met Coach of the Year and was named WCAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2017. Coach Waller has been named NHFS Mideast Region Coach of the Year twice. Over the years, Gonzaga’s Varsity team has been a constant in the national spotlight, with the 2009, 2012, and 2022 teams all ranked in the top ten in the nation by the United Soccer Coaches poll. Scott has coached seven Gatorade State Player of the Year recipients and thirteen first-team Washington Post All-Met players and has an impressive varsity winning record of 277-93-50. Scott is an avid soccer fan and was a standout player at Castleton State College in Vermont. A native of Cooperstown, NY, he lives in the Del Ray area of Alexandria with his wife, Suzy, and their three children Kira, Charlie, and Naomi. Kira played with McLean for the past four seasons and is headed to the University of Virginia this fall.
