MYS Half-Day & Kick N' Code No School Day Camps - NEW
MYS Half-Day Camp
MYS is offering a NEW CAMP to families on specific dates this fall when Fairfax County Public Schools are not in session for students. The half-day camp curriculum will include topics and themes including:
Daily Topic - Each day of the week will focus on a different aspect of the game - examples are Finishing Day, 1v1 Day, and Overloads Day
Skill of the Day - Regardless of the daily topic each day the campers will be taught a new skill!
Challenge of the Day - Each day will provide a challenge that will allow the campers to compete with each other individually (for example - Crossbar Challenge or PK Challenge) or as a team (for example - World Cup Day or how many one touch passes in a row can you get) for a possible PRIZE!
T-Shirt Theme - We encouraged campers to wear certain colors/jerseys/MYS apparel on different days throughout the week.
Camp training will also include:
- Focus on developing the fundamental skills of soccer and principles of team play.
- Foundational skills: dribbling, ball control, turning, shooting, and passing.
- Develop player coordination, physical skills, and social interaction.
- Develops player technical skills and tactical knowledge of the game.
- Build advanced foot and upper body skills - emphasizing creativity to beat an opponent.
- Advanced shooting, shielding, and receiving techniques.
Regardless of one's level of play, our camp counselors are trained to provide safe, challenging, and a FUN focused way of improving your player’s abilities. MYS offers something for everyone, and we look forward to you taking advantage of our outstanding staff and programs.
Camp Dates: **There are camp dates offered in the fall, winter, & spring. Players can register for multiple sessions.

Fees:
- $125 per camp - Two day camps
- $65 per camp - One day camps *If players register for both the January and February session they receive $5 off each camp.

Kick 'N Code Full-Day Camp
Does you camper want to play soccer in the morning with the MYS Half-Day Camp and then learn to code in the afternoon? MYS and theCoderSchool are offering a one-day version of the the popular KICK 'N CODE summer camp! This one day camp blends together an action-packed morning of soccer (players will participate in the MYS Half-Day No School Day Camp) and an exciting afternoon of educational coding. The full day experience runs from 9am-4pm. The camp is for children with birth years 2018-2012.
- Campers will need to be dropped off each morning at Lewinsville Park Field #2 to KICK off a morning of soccer training and fun.
- Campers will then be transported to theCoderSchool in McLean for an afternoon spent learning coding skills until 4 pm.
- Transportation to theCoderSchool will be provided, but campers must be picked up at the school by a parent or guardian promptly at 4pm.
- Spots for this cool coding camp are limited to 12 players per session – register early!

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each session is capped, so individuals interested in participating should enroll as early as possible.
