MYS Half-Day Summer Camps 2025
Programs Director Michael Newhall introduced a NEW CURRICULUM for our MYS Half-Day camps in Summer 2024 with huge success! Our Summer 2025 camps led by Coach Josue Ugarte now include weekly and daily camp topics and themes including:
Daily Topic - Each day of the week will focus on a different aspect of the game - examples are Finishing Day, 1v1 Day, and Overloads Day
Skill of the Day - Regardless of the daily topic each day the campers will be taught a new skill!
Challenge of the Day - Each day will provide a challenge that will allow the campers to compete with each other individually (for example - Crossbar Challenge or PK Challenge) or as a team (for example - World Cup Day or how many one touch passes in a row can you get) for a possible PRIZE!
T-Shirt Theme - We encouraged campers to wear certain colors/jerseys/MYS apparel on different days throughout the week.
Camp training will also include:
- Focus on developing the fundamental skills of soccer and principles of team play.
- Foundational skills: dribbling, ball control, turning, shooting, and passing.
- Develop player coordination, physical skills, and social interaction.
- Develops player technical skills and tactical knowledge of the game.
- Build advanced foot and upper body skills - emphasizing creativity to beat an opponent.
- Advanced shooting, shielding, and receiving techniques.
Regardless of one's level of play, our camp counselors are trained to provide safe, challenging, and a FUN focused way of improving your player’s abilities. MYS offers something for everyone, and we look forward to you taking advantage of our outstanding staff and programs.

MYS offers Half-Day Camp Aftercare ~ NEW for Summer 2025!
Once a camper is registered for an MYS Half-Day Camp, they will receive a link with the option to register for Camp Aftercare.

McLean Youth Soccer offers extensive summer soccer camp options throughout the summer weeks of June 16 through August 11 at various turf fields in the McLean area. MYS offers something for each player, recreation to elite level, and provides a fun and focused way of developing skills.
McLean Youth Soccer strives to make soccer a pleasant, safe, and rewarding experience for soccer players on and off the field. The club has a firm belief in the value of sports in promoting the physical, mental, and social well-being of soccer players. Our summer camps provide a fun, social, and developmental environment with training led by dedicated coaching staff.
You do not need to be a member of MYS to attend. New members will need to create an account when registering.
MYS Camp Program Registration fees are non-refundable.
*If MYS cancels a camp, fees will be refunded in part or in whole.

Kick 'N Code Camp
Back by popular demand! For the third summer, McLean Youth Soccer is offering a full day summer camp in conjunction with theCoderSchool! This camp blends together an action-packed morning of soccer and an exciting afternoon of educational coding. The full day experience runs from 9am-4pm. The camp is for children with birth years 2019-2013.
Campers will need to be dropped off each morning at the Police Field (Government Center, Balls Hill Road) to KICK off a morning of soccer training and fun.
Campers will then be transported to theCoderSchool in McLean for an afternoon spent learning coding skills and will CODE the day away until 4 pm.
Transportation to theCoderSchool will be provided, but campers must be picked up at the school by a parent or guardian promptly at 4pm.
**Spots for this cool coding camp are limited to 12 players per session – register early!

Registration: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each session is capped, so individuals interested in participating should enroll as early as possible. Registration can be completed by selecting 2025 Summer Kick N' Code Camp in your PlayMetrics account.

McLean Youth Soccer partners with Coerver Camps to host specialty camps during the weeks of June 16 and July 28.
