McLean Soccer is excited to participate in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) during the Summer 2025 season in the South Region's Atlantic Conference - The District Division. Established in 1998, the WPSL has been the peak platform for advancing player development in the United States at the amateur level. During its 25-year history, the WPSL has grown into a leading advocate for women’s soccer by creating multiple avenues for developmental opportunities, including the WPSL International Combine and the WPSL U21 league.
As of 2023, the WPSL is still the longest-active women’s soccer league in the United States and the largest women’s soccer league in the world. Its national footprint stretches across the country with teams from 31 of the 50 states.
WPSL team rosters consist of elite female players from collegiate, post-collegiate, international, and standout prep athletes. The average age of a WPSL player is 20.7 years old. Sixty-nine percent of WPSL players are rostered on teams from their hometown’s metro area and 92% of the WPSL’s collegiate athletes play for NCAA member institutions. Notable alumnae include NCAA All-Americans, MAC Hermann Trophy recipients, Hall of Fame Inductees, Olympic Medalists, World Cup Winners, NWSL Champions, and Ballon d’Or recipients.
The WPSL is sanctioned by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) – an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the ruling body of soccer in the United States.
Meet the Coach
We welcome Tati Korba as our coach for the WPSL 2025 team!

Tati Korba will enter her ninth season as the Head Coach at Stevenson University in Fall 2025 and her 22nd college season as a head coach, having also coached at Skidmore College and Goucher College. During her time at Stevenson, the Mustang have made the MAC Commonwealth Conference playoffs four times, have beaten and tied two nationally ranked top 20 teams, and have produced several MAC All-Conference and United Soccer Coaches All-Region players. Additionally, Korba is the Mid-Atlantic Chair for the United Soccer Coach All-America Committee and serves as the Advisor of the Stevenson Athletics Student Athlete Advisory Council.
Prior to her college coaching career, Korba worked for two MLS teams -NY Red Bull and DC United - and was a Head Coach in the WPSL for the Maryland Pride. As a player, Korba was a four-year member of the William Smith soccer team and an NCAA participant all four years of her college career. In her sophomore season, the William Smith Herons lost in the NCAA National Championship, and after completion of her senior year, Korba was named the UCAA Player of the Year, the NY State Player of the Year and a United Soccer Coaches All-America player. After graduation, Korba spent 3 years playing in the WPSL as a forward for the Maryland Pride.
