Student Visionaries of the Year

Team Union For a Cure, comprised primarily of VA Union FC ECNL 2007 Girls team players led by Kosette Koons-Perdikis and Rachel Chung, have been crowned the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student Visionaries of the Year in Washington, DC for 2023! These amazing young women spearheaded a 7-week fundraising campaign to fight against blood cancers with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society raising over $450,000 collectively. Additionally, Kosette set a new all time individual record in the Washington, DC region by raising over $280,000! In total, over 40 teams competed with a grand total of over $3 million raised for the cause. We are so proud of these amazing players and their efforts.
