Thank you to our club sponsors and membership for making this year’s MYS Fall Festival a HUGE success! Giveaways included MARS M&Ms, dog treats, MYS gear, pink adidas socks, and the Leidos ice cream truck gave out 1,000 frozen treats. MYS is proud to be part of such an incredible community.

Congrats to our Pro23 Men’s team who repeated as Champions beating Richmond United in PKs. The team is now undefeated in two seasons!

Recreation Director Trevor Lamb and Assistant Recreation Director Vince Sprouls presented two MYS volunteer parent Recreation coaches with the 2022-2023 Coach Choice Award at the club’s Annual General Meeting.

Team Union For a Cure, comprised primarily of VA Union FC ECNL 2007 Girls team players led by Kosette Koons-Perdikis and Rachel Chung, have been crowned the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student Visionaries of the Year in Washington, DC for 2023!

The recent findings in the Sally Yates report pertaining to the challenges faced by the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) are a reminder that we are all stewards for the integrity of the game of soccer and well-being of the members of the community that participate in it.
